Thomasena Kelly Mental Health Counselor

Beyond my credentials and experience, I am a fun loving person, who enjoys interacting with others to help them navigate through life. I strongly believe that treatment should entail an approach that is relative to each person’s needs. I do; however, incorporate motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral techniques, from a Spiritual aspect, that I believe will be helpful to assess thinking patterns and behaviors that sometimes disrupts the overall functionality of one’s life. My love for Jesus Christ has taught me how to be passionate about empowering individuals to seek internal strength, to make changes that will produce positive results. My services are provided in a safe and welcoming environment, whether virtual or in person to ensure that individuals feel they can fully discuss their concerns without judgment or bias. So after sharing a little about me, I am interested and eager to learn more about you…

Hope to hear from you soon!

Mental Health is Important for Everyone

As a mental health therapist, my approach to therapy is to provide a safe and non-judgmental space where you can talk about your concerns and receive support and guidance. I work with my clients to explore the specific challenges they face on a daily basis and develop practical strategies to cope with stress and anxiety. From mindfulness exercises to self-care practices, I provide my clients with the tools and resources they need to manage their mental health and improve their overall well-being. Although I utilize a therapeutic approach with elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution Focus, and Person Centered, I am able to incapsulate a Christian faith-based perspective in your treatment plan at your request. My goal is to help my clients feel more empowered and equipped Spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and physically to handle the challenges of daily life, so they can thrive both in and out of therapy.
